Friends Only

When my Live Journal homepage shamelessly informed me that I hadn't updated in 5 weeks, I realised it was partly because I was a bit over cautious about anything I wrote, since practically anyone could read it. Which is why I write nothing.

That's why this is going to become a Friends Only Journal.

I'm also posting my FP stuff here, with banners for each story. Sadly FP doesn't allow you to do that :(.  All stories will be private too, except the petition, which has already been posted here.

Comment to be added. If you know me on FP just give me your username. Othewise, tell me how I might know you.

Seriously. Do it. These stories rule :)

And no, I'm not biased (much).

Contest Updates

All participants of my contest (and all those who plan to take part in the future) need to do this. I won't be PM'ing people with updates any longer. It's your job to keep your self informed.

If you want regular, and instant updates on any of my contest, existing and upcoming, I suggest you do this:

Use the TRACK THIS option at the top of this entry. You'll reach a settings page. Check the second option 'annoyance15 posts a new entry tagged'. Choose the option 'contest' from the drop down box. That's it! Instant updates.

Of course, you need an LJ account to do this, so please get one as soon as possible. It's free and easy to register. Once you finish the whole process, leave a comment with your ficpress name telling me that you're done. This way I won't have to remind you, especially if you are a participant.

I won't be updating as regularly on my ficpress page anymore, so this will now be your main source of information

Of Harry Potter and OneShot Contests

I haven't updated LJ in a while (shocker right there), but in my defense, I've been super busy of late. I spend more time than I should on the internet as it is!

So what have I been up to? My FP OneShots contest has taken up a whole chunk of my time. The whole deal of replying to PM's, reading entries, answering questions etc is totally exhausting, but I love it! Some of the entries to the contets have been BRILLIANT and I'd strongly recommend that you read these lovely stories (subtle advertising, clearly not a talent I can boast of. Oh well!)

I've been more active on Plagiarism Haven of late, and I've read a fairly decent lot of the stories posted there. Fantastic work there, I tell you. These plagiarized authors are back with a vegenance, and are better than ever!

What's everyone else talking about? Ah yes. The Harry Potter movie. Brilliant visuals. That movie is worth watching just for the cinematography. The actual movie was alright, bordering on annoying. There was the added, and much needed, element of comic relief this time, but other than that the movie was rather boring.

I've run out of things to talk about. Meh.

This is the essay from Fiction Press. I thought I'd post it here, because everyone affected by plagiarism seems to have an account here.

Finally on LJ

Hi everyone!

This is Annoyance, from Fiction press. I finally signed up onto Live Journal!

<cue standing ovation>

*blushes and bows to the admiring crowds*

No, seriously. I'm such a lazy person, that the effort it took me to sign up is totally worth the applause!

Okay, to the point now. The reason I signed up onto LJ is because of the horrible plagiarism going on at Fic Press. Since the affected authors have chosen LJ as their new safe haven to post stories at I figured, 'Sure!  Why Not?'

So here I am. With no clue what to do.

Oh well! Clueless has always been my middle name.

~Annoyance (I hate that someone already took annoyance as their name, so I had to settle for annoyance 15)
